Line: There’s a racial space in advertising by banks and payday lenders, study finds

Payday loan providers wanna entice folks of colors into countless cycles of high-interest obligations. Main-stream financial institutions prefer white men and women as visitors.

At the very least that is exactly what educational scientists determined after examining advertising and marketing resources for two industries.

In a soon-to-be-published paper, experts at the institution of Houston tried to know why dark and Latino men make up a disproportionately significant number of subscribers for payday and vehicle title lenders. I managed to get a sneak look at their own jobs.
